I've been around linemen my whole life. Listened to their stories as a kid and then became one myself. Linemen are a special breed and part of a brotherhood. Their bond is formed much like a team or military group. They spend long hours together performing stressful and intense jobs in high risk environments. In many cases they spend more time with the line crew then they do with their own families. They are gypsy's, and in a lot of cases thrill seekers. Linemen are the type of people that can build anything with nothing and be extremely efficient at it. Nothing stops them from getting the job done either. Not bad weather, terrain, hight's, or long hard hours. Though the electrical trade isn't as old as the construction trade it still has a history worth sharing and preserving. We can all agree that without electricity we wouldn't be as advanced as we are today. I love this trade. It's taken me all over the world and introduced me to some fantastic people. The idea of this project is to accomplish two things. I want to do my part to preserve the history of the line trade by recording and sharing our stories. The second thing is that I want to give back to the trade that has given so much to me. I will also be brining guests on the show that are experts in various fields of health that relate to us. Hopefully we can all continue to learn and grow from these amazing people.Lineworkers! This show's for you!
