Makers of Compucold computer cooling technology and the world's fastest computer servers and workstations. Powerquest® was founded in 2009 based on a quest to develop more efficient cooling technologies. The most unlikely union of experts in the fields of information technology, thermodynamics, business, and law joined forces to create the Powerquest® team. In early 2009, we began building a prototype for a high efficiency, low powered, alternative energy source air conditioning system. We made a breakthrough by discovering and inventing the optimal heat-exchanger, which efficiently transfers the cold received from the absorption process into a glycol solution, which is used to create air conditioning through a chilled water air handler. In July 2010, Powerquest® received its first patent on this breakthrough technology, HIGHLY EFFICIENT COOLING SYSTEMS (U.S. Patent 7,762,101). Returning to its IT roots, Powerquest® began working on ways to apply advanced cooling technologies to increase the speed and stability of today's PC's, and Compucold® was born. PowerQuest® has developed a revolutionary, patent-pending cooling technology that enables extreme overclocking of processors to achieve speeds up to 50% faster than stock, running 24/7 at 100% load. There is currently no personal computer on the market that can run continuously and stable at this speed. Moreover, our cooling technology provides significant energy savings over traditional cooling methods.
