Powhow is the leading platform for online education and live webcam classes. Co-Founded by serial tech entrepreneur Viva Chu and his wife Agatha Chang when they had trouble scheduling fitness classes with their favorite instructors, the company is building a community of hobby enthusiast of all kinds. In the early 2000's, Viva worked as the Principal Architect at a start-up building iTV systems for Cox and Comcast. He sold his second company Handipoints to Slide, which was acquired by Google, where he spent a year as Head of Product Marketing and Strategy. Inspiration Ventures is the lead investor in Powhow, as it was for Handipoints. Powhow has several patents pending, including one for the combination of tools an instructor uses to create a class.
