zero-carbon 2030 is a not-for-profit organization with offices in Luxembourg and Australia. Our overarching goal is to move the needle to net-zero carbon emissions and align the planet emissions with the Paris Agreement to limit the average global temperature rise to a safe 1.5º C. We believe it's possible. The solution to humanity's greatest challenge is not overwhelming. It's simple. And all our actions matter. We know that business can lead on climate. But it's motivated by profit. And many believe that climate action will be a cost to their business. We believe that we can change that perspective. We can make companies understand that climate action is as fundamental to their survival as it is to ours.If a small number of consumers that want climate action, are prepared to shift their spending, they can influence companies to prioritise climate action. If consumers only support businesses that are doing the right thing on climate, we will be rewarding the good guys. And, we'll encourage climate laggards to do more.The zero-carbon 2030 mission is to empower those consumers to drive a transformative global response to the climate emergency. We've developed a Carbon Rating system that assesses companies on their climate commitments and actions. We're putting reliable climate information in the hands of consumers so they can make informed decisions with your purchases and investments. And beyond that, we're campaigning to get consumers' voices heard in boardrooms the world over.By leveraging our collective economic power and aligning our spending with our values, we can drive businesses to take faster, bolder action on climate change.
