Prama Jyoti Foundation is a gratitude driven initiative started in 2009 by Ravi Sharma, with mission of ‘Education first'. Our projects aim to address the education challenges faced by the country in form of quantity and quality both.Project Aadhaar works for building a strong base for education, to see more and more kids enroll into schools, stay there and have access to a good education.Project Nikhaar aims to enhance the quality of education by improving English language and other soft skills with an emphasis on ease of learning.Aangans are spaces developed under project Aadhaar for holistic development of out of school kids living on streets/slums or villages of Delhi and NCR. A daytime place of their own where they can be just kids first and also study and learn before getting admission into regular schools. PJF impact is going strong with more than 10,000 students years in 4 schools, receiving 250 excellence awards and 100 travel grants. Our adopted schools are showing remarkable progress and are considered to be one of the best schools of the area. We have overcome the challenges of low enrollment and high drop out ( Nearly 900 students)Gender disparity(50% girls), attendance (98%) (average marks up by 73%).We promote goodness and all our project based activities are meant to Embrace- Educate and Enhance.
