Prarambh: Ecell at IMT Hyderabad came into existence in 2011 to maintain and augment the entrepreneurial spirit among IMTians. From providing a platform to put forward their ideas or conducting events to showcase their business acumen and inviting dignitaries to college to let them share their valuable learning and experiences with aspiring students, the club has successfully proved that it is a dedicated center for empowering the aspiring entrepreneurs.Prarambh has conducted various events over the past years such as Food Fiesta (a theme-based annual food festival of IMT Hyderabad), Entrepreneur-SHIP (a virtual event, which takes the students on an entrepreneurship voyage full of innovation & surprises), Tie Grad (entrepreneurial workshop in association with The Indus Entrepreneurs) and war of the nations (an innovative event which simulates the working of an economy). All these events have been a huge success among the IMT community. Additionally, Pitch Up, the annual flagship event of Prarambh, is a national-level business plan competition, providing a golden platform to the budding entrepreneurs of this country to pitch in their business ideas in front of the industry experts. Under the guidance of Prof. Saikat Banerjee, the club mentor, Prarambh has seized every opportunity to harness the innovative and future defining business ideas of IMTians.
