We work to connect our clients to new opportunities and partners, communicate capabilities, and effectively compete in the marketplace. We work most frequently with companies that provide design and construction related services or supplies for the built environment: Architects Engineers Construction Specialty Consultants Developers Suppliers Project-Based Entities Information Technology Faith-Based/Community Organizations WHY PRAXIS EXISTS: visible gaps = invisible barriers We heard common feedback when working with prime A/E/C firms on projects: "There are no (or very few) M/WBE firms qualified to do this work." BUT, when talking with smaller specialty consultants, minority/women-owned (M/WBE) firms, and other disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE), their comments were a direct contradiction: "Potential clients are unaware that we exist or do not believe we are capable of completing the work." Both of these responses reflect a communication disconnect rooted in a lack of effective marketing. By closing this gap, PRAXIS strives to remove barriers to competition.
