Steve Coupe offers individual psychotherapy and has extensive experience of working with complex cases particularly in relation to personality disorder and trauma. He tailors his approach to the needs of the client and offers a range of approaches which include cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema focussed therapy (SFT), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and problem solving therapy (PST).In addition to the above Steve provides training, supervision and consultation to other mental health professionals who are working in both community and secure settings.Steve's experience means that he is able to offer medico-legal services in forensic settings (criminal court, mental health review tribunals, parole board hearings and discretionary lifer panels) and also personal injury claims which relate to trauma/PTSD.
