Precision Medicine for Africa (PM4A) is a Division of the Wits Health Consortium, and is embedded within the Department of Molecular Medicine and Haematology at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.Our mission is to deliver a precision medicine relevant to diseases with public health significance in Africa. We use artificial intelligence to combine protein and genetic data, medical observations, and our knowledge of African genetic variation, to guide the process of clinical decision making.Our Vision is supported by four strategic pillars:1.
