Prema Jyothi, which means "Light of Love," is a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization that was formed to release economically disadvantaged children and children with disabilities from the cycles of poverty and discrimination. Prema Jyothi seeks to empower the economically disadvantaged through a myriad of schemes encompassing the areas of nutrition, education and vocational training. The primary goals of this non-profit are to:-Bring light and love into the lives of those who are socially ostracized-Give impoverished kids an opportunity to receive an education-Impart life skills to the poor, underprivileged, and orphans-Provide learning skills to children with mental / physical disabilitiesPrema Jyothi is currently supporting several programs including a Mid-day Food Program for 150 students, food programs for senior citizens, education for 65 kids, health programs for children in need, and a Foster Care Program for 250 kids.
