PREP FOR ART specializes in art school admissions and portfolio development. Whether it be portfolios for students preparing their college application for admission to college programs in FINE ARTS or GENERAL STUDIES & BUSINESS, at the UNDERGRADUATE or GRADUATE LEVEL, PREP FOR ART helps students develop their best portfolio to reveal their talent, commitment and passion. PREP FOR ART is based in Los Angeles, with a production studio in downtown's Fashion District, and an office in Venice Beach. We work with students in Los Angeles, meeting privately and in groups. We also work with students around the world, using Skype and FaceTime. PREP FOR ART is directed by artist and curator Linda Pollack, who's been coaching students since 2007. Linda studied art in The Netherlands and in Los Angeles, and is the recipient of numerous awards and commissions. In addition to PREP FOR ART, Linda works with College Bound Today, a college access mentoring program operating in the Montebello Unified School District.Linda is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
