Prepared International (PPI) was founded by experienced international disaster experts during the response to the Nepal Earthquake. The network of Prepared International experts believes that people, economies and the environment suffer from increased risks of disaster impact. Climate change results in more frequent and stronger severe weather events, growing population density and migration creates increased vulnerability and risk of conflict. With a growing dependency on technology and supply chains, additional vulnerabilities are introduced in human societies.
