Nonprofit Organization Management - Chicago, Illinois, United States
On December 4, 2014 Pretty Fingers was founded by ToniAnn Fedele and on January 2, 2018, Pretty Fingers was officially established as an Illinois Not-for-Profit organization. Its mission is to restore self-confidence, self-care and self-love to women survivors of domestic violence through the colors of nail polish. ToniAnn knew how wonderful a fresh manicure and a new nail polish color made her feel and she wanted to share that feeling with as many women survivors of domestic violence, living in Chicago, as possible.Pretty Fingers strives to heal broken dreams and all donations are distributed in individual hand-packed gift bags to many different organizations across the Chicago-land area who support these courageous women. Each gift bag is put together with l♡ve and consists of at least 5-8 different colored nail polishes and 2-4 nail supplies. ToniAnn makes certain that each gift bag has a multitude of colors for each woman to choose from.Pretty Fingers successfully ran 8 campaigns, from December to March during the 2014-2022 calendar years, and each year a new goal was set and oftentimes exceeded. Throughout Pretty Fingers lifespan, 12,210 bottles of NEW Nail Polish with over 4,000 NEW Nail Supplies were donated to women survivors of domestic violence.Pretty Fingers 9th Campaign will begin on December 1, 2022, although Pretty Fingers gratefully accepts donations at any time throughout the year. For all monetary donations, please send funding to prettyfingerschicago@gmail.com. All monetary donations are used to purchase New Nail Polish & Supplies and to keep Pretty Fingers alive. You can follow the cause at www.prettyfingers.org"This experience has been incredible, and I always knew that I wanted to make a difference in the world, Pretty Fingers is my difference!" – ToniAnn Fedele
