PHC is a community health center providing care and services to the vulnerable and underserved living in central Iowa. Providing many services under one roof helps our patients access care. PHC offers medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. Homeless support services and the Polk County Centralized Intake program are found in Des Moines. The Project provides HIV/STD prevention and testing as well as Ryan White HIV care and treatment program This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
