Established in 2010 by taking over the activities and assets of former IMKI (Imprimerie de Kigali) PRINTEX Ltd is the first Rwandese printing company to provide its customers with high-quality products and full printing services including design,pre-press, printing and finishing.At Printex, We produce various printing orders from both public and private institutions and recently we have also implemented high volumes book printing for the local publishers and education sectorPRINTEX aims not only to improve quality but also to increase and reinforce printing for local customers in order to actively support the « Made In Rwanda » Campaign as we strongly believe that « Printed Materials for Rwanda Should Mainly be printed in Rwanda ». It is in that way we have invested in new facilities and relocated our head office in the « Kigali Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), where we have doubled our production capacity and invested in modern finishing equipment along with a complete refurbishing of our existing equipment. PRINTEX has also recently entered a long-term partnership with one of the biggest International Printing &Media Company based in Germany called (BURDAINTERNATIONAL) which has settled in Rwanda and acquired 25% of Printex shares. This partnership will allow PRINTEX to benefit from more than 100 years of experience that BURDA has in the media industry and with the advantage of gradually reaching the same technical and high quality level as the other printing companies in East Africa.
