PMC is a software company developing tools for music composition and production autogenesis. (That is, we write software that writes songs.) Our products loosen traditional constraints on songwriters, engineers and producers by augmenting and automating a variety of standard workflows.We are currently developing three platforms which facilitate pseudo-randomization of musical macro-parameters. What's it mean? Create entire songs with a push of a button, or browse an abundance of options for any component or quality of your sound and composition. You control what to change and constrain on any of several curated instrumental, rhythmic, composition, and engineering components. Our products include data sets to combine and randomize endlessly, exploring uncharted artistic territories and pushing the boundaries of creative expression. You can also build your own automated workflows, if you prefer.Our products have a very simple value proposition: drastically reduce the time and administrative overhead of song production, while providing endless content for artistic inspiration. Our creative philosophy is to let technology do as much as it can, so the artist can focus on art.
