We believe in teaching students how to learn, not just how to prepare for tests. Learning is cumulative. Like building blocks, each theory, concept and subject fit together to form a foundation upon which understanding grows. Instead of pushing your child to memorize and regurgitate information in preparation for a test, we work with our students to ensure that they fully grasp each topic before moving on to the next one. At Private Edge, we strive for the "aha!" moment – watching the light bulb go off above a student's head when a concept finally clicks. That's why each curriculum is tailored to your child. As we aim for understanding, it's our goal to ensure he or she is appropriately challenged, but not frustrated.
