>> PrivatePrint is an art book publishing house and a studio for interdisciplinary research and practices in contemporary art and graphic design from Skopje, North Macedonia. Since 2016, their practice is dedicated to editing, creating and supporting artists' books, art and curatorial research projects, artists' writings and related publications. Based on the premise that art and publishing are the perfect match for the democratization of culture, their mission is to disseminate art ideas and to make them easily available. The founders and editors-in-chief of PrivatePrint are Marija Hristova and Ilija Prokopiev. >> We are primarily focused on emerging artists and art practices. Our mission is to provide space for better visibility for the artists we work with, both within our local context and internationally. We develop on-going collaborations that incorporate different media: books, exhibitions, artists' talks and interviews. We have worked - and continue to work - with: Darko Aleksovski, Dorotej Neshovski, Bisera Krckovska, Dragana Zarevska, Jasna Dimitrovska, Ledia Kostandini, Elena Chemerska, Marta Sindil, Zoran Shekerov, Kristina Bozurska, and others. We also develop collaborations with organizations from the local independent cultural scene, as well as, major cultural institutions like the Museum of Contemporary Art - Skopje and academics from the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje. >> PrivatePrint's graphic design practice includes collaborations involving editorial design, poster design, and visual identity.
