The Professional Boxers' Association (PBA) is the professional body which represents the interests of Boxers and Boxing Professionals around the world. It is represented by regional PBA's around the world, with exception to the British and USA organisations which are owned and operated by the PBA, These regions have no territorial designation in their names as they were the first in the world to be founded.The Professional Boxers Association was established in 2012. The Association is based at its head quarters in Staffordshire in the United Kingdom and operates in more than 70 countries worldwide. Its activities include the training of boxing professionals and the continuing education of members; the organisation and sanctioning of boxing tournaments, including tournaments for its members such as the PBA World Series contested between Great Britain & Europe, USA, Rest of the World and the PBA of America and also the British Empire Trophy; the promotion of pro-am boxing tournaments and supporting amateur boxing, which provides work for its members; and the development of junior boxing. The PBA, on behalf of the sport of boxing, also promotes the development of coach education. Qualifications in training include a Professional Boxer Coaching Certificate, alongside management and agent qualifications and officials courses.Membership is available to all boxers, boxing professionals and supporters.
