Raewyn entered real estate as a salesperson for the family company. Not content with the sketchy knowledge available at that time, Raewyn became a fully licensed Real Estate Agent (AREINZ), and in 1986 took full ownership of the company at that time called R. Wilson Ltd. Embracing Professionals membership by bringing the look and feel into the company branding, the company name was changed to Star Real Estate in 2003. Raewyn has worked hard over the past 30 years to gain an enviable reputation within the industry and the local community and her ethical manner ensures a high level of trust with team members and those clients who come into contact with her when buying and selling. Her caring nature ensures she is always leading the team when they take to the streets for the annual Child Cancer Collection. Property as an investment has been Raewyn's mantra for many years. She has ensured a team focus has seen many clients assisted in their quest for security through property investment. Matching in-depth local insight with a friendly, straightforward approach to understanding people and growing a sales team, has led to a company focus that brings about good outcomes for all involved. Raewyn is committed to introducing and maintaining systems into the company to ensure clients remain in touch with market conditions and real estate news. Raewyn increased her marketing expertise in 1997 by completing an MBA through Waikato University. This initiative had stood the company in good stead through many turbulent cycles of the real estate market. In 1999 she indulged another great passion of hers – art, by opening the Monterey Art Gallery in Howick which she subsequently sold in 2004 to re-focus on the real estate business.
