Profile Soil and Environmental (PSE) provides technical expertise in land resource assessment and management for the agricultural, environmental, construction and resource sectors in Queensland, Australia. Areas of expertise include soil mapping, land suitability assessment, soil erosion, acid sulfate soils, salinity, strategic cropping land, and construction soil management. PSE also has considerable experience in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using a variety of software and hardware packages. Principal Soil Scientist Jon Walton is a certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) Stage 2 under the Soil Science Australia certification scheme. Jon is well respected and has over 16 years of experience in the collection, interpretation and application of land resource information within the government and private sectors.
