Progressive Volunteers (PV) is a community-based organization founded in 2007 to meet the critical needs of young people living in Ruaraka and the surrounding communities of Kasarani District of Nairobi County.We are dedicated to creating comprehensive long-term solutions that give young people in high-risk environments real alternatives to poverty and violence.Our vision is focused on strengthening a wide and committed volunteering network, which will contribute to social and economic development in Kenya.By this way we intend to build a resource of capable volunteers and improve the live condition of our community members by giving them the capacity to grow by themselves towards to a self-growing and responsible learning path.Our mission is promote community development initiatives by collaborating with partners with the assistance of volunteers.
