Nonprofit Organization Management - New Delhi, Delhi, India
We aim to provide clean drinking water in underprivileged areas through provisions of contaminant-specific technologies. We set up community filtration plants which can provide water to 550 families or 2200+ slum residents every day.We have set up 13 community filtration plants across 3 states collectively impacting 35,750+ lives on a daily basis. Our intervention has also brought a reduction of 72% in the health-water expenditure per family/month and decreased diseases such as diarrhoea, typhoid and cholera. Through successful partnerships with organisations working in WASH; Asbah has been able to increase its impact.
