To help support the role of music in healthcare, Project Forte works to bring together music and medicine by creating volunteer opportunities for musicians in healthcare facilities in Rochester, NY. For patients in healthcare facilities, their friends and family members, as well as healthcare providers, a musical performance can be an invaluable gift that brings joy, hope and inspiration. By utilizing high school, collegiate and other local performers, Project Forte aims to create and maintain a community of volunteer musicians that plays periodically in healthcare settings across Rochester, sharing the joy of music, patient by patient, note by note.
