Project Forum is a non-profit organisation, established in 2006 in Bratislava, Slovakia. The overall main mission of the civic association is to support intellectual discourse, promote culture and create a space for discussion and dialogue in Central Europe.The main area of our activity is the Salon website (www.salon.eu.sk). It offers up-to-date reviews of essays and feuilletons published by the European and world press, with a special focus on Central Europe. The website seeks to create a forum for the formulation of common questions and the exchange of intellectual impulses between Europe's centre and its peripheries, essentially to foster a common European public.In line with these goals, since 2009, we annually organize the Central European Forum conference, based on panel discussions attended by expert speakers from all over the world, which is open to the general public.In 2010, we initiated Mirrors of Europe, a 2-year project supported by EC's Culture programme.
