Project Kitape Katha Koi কিতাপে কথা কয় is an initiative to build community library, to talk and share about children literature in Assamese language. This initiative was started to take the world of stories, joy of reading near to children.Initially it started with online storytelling session and after functioning as virtual platform now it has a community library in Chenijan Tea Estate of Jorhat District serving children of 5 villages. It has a curated collection for children and it delivers books to children on weekly basis. The Community Library conducts regular strorytelling, read aloud, library session with children. Kitape Katha Koi is an open and free library running with the energy of passion, love for reading. Kitape Katha Koi believes in the power of reading and it wants to take the joy of reading to children.Follow us to know more about our work.
