PMI Central Indiana Chapter (PMICIC) is the leading and largest professional association for project management in the state with over 1600 members of which more than a 1200 are professional credential holders. PMICIC is a chartered chapter of the Project Management Institute serving the project management community of over 80% of the state of Indiana. PMICIC is one of five chapters in Indiana. The others - Northeast Indiana (Fort Wayne), Michiana (South Bend), Calumet (Gary), and Southwestern Indiana (Evansville) - each have relatively small service areas, leaving the Central Indiana Chapter with most of the state.PMICIC is one of the 21 chapters from 8 states and 2 provinces included in the "North Central North American Region," designated as Region 2 that includes Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Canada. PMICIC is the third largest chapter in Region 2, behind Chicagoland and Minnesota.
