Project SunbYte (Sheffield University Nova Balloon Telescope) is a student-led project from the University of Sheffield. Our objective is develop an inexpensive balloon lifted telescope capable of obtaining scientifically valuable solar images.The 3rd iteration of SunbYte is currently in development. SunbYte I and SunbYte II have been flown and tested under the ESA BEXUS and NASA HASP programs respectively.
