9/11 Concrete Sculptures. The creation of 11 Ground Zero concrete slurry wall sculptures being placed strategically around the United States as memorials for 9/11. Parts of the wall had to be removed to make way for the new subway tunnel coming into the New World Trade Center area. These are a limited amount of sculptures made of concrete blocks cut out and brought up from the slurry wall foundation surrounding Ground Zero, created into memorials dedicated to that 11th day of September 2001, for the Hope, Healing, and Rebuilding of our Nation. If you are interested in having one of these blocks made into a sculpture for your town, please contact San Priest, the artist, directly at (239) 269-5733. http://www.sancrete.com Project11up: Eleven, Memorial Sculptures created from some of the remains of the 9/11 slurry wall concrete that had to be cut out to make room for the new subway PATH system for the New World Trade Center Area.
