Project ECHO (Entrepreneurial Concepts Hands On!) believes in the power of entrepreneurs and the next generation of great American businesses. ECHO has taught thousands of middle and high school students throughout Southern California a formal education in business and entrepreneurship, and shares the belief that being innovative and smart is cool. ECHO provides a free year-round program including a formal curriculum in entrepreneurial studies, business boot camps supported by M.B.A. students, and an annual business plan competition. The program offers hands-on activities that teach students in-demand skills in Excel, PowerPoint, business writing, social media marketing, finance, and public speaking. Through Project ECHO, teens are able to explore new career pathways, hone real-life skills, and experience the magic of mentorship. Project ECHO is celebrating its 20th anniversary and started in the Santa Monica, CA.
