Prolang Ltd. is a consultancy company, based in Sofia, advising on the development and implementation of foreign language management strategies in a corporate context. Prolang Ltd. is one of the very few companies in Bulgaria that offer the service "language auditing" as a service on its own, independent of the potential interests of language training providers and translation agencies.A "language audit" is an analytical system designed to enable organizations, in the private or public sector, to evaluate their foreign language requirements and to benchmark these against their capabilities thereby identifying areas of strength and weakness. It goes on to assess the organisations' language training and recruitment needs and evaluates the efficacy of the policies and practices that have to meet those needs. Last but not least, the "language audit" provides the means to match the organization's foreign language capability against its short- and long-term goals.
