Protekta is a specialist in sustainable wood restoration of hydraulic engineering works. Timber structures in hydraulic engineering are usually only damaged locally. However, the entire structure is often replaced, while the local damage can be perfectly renovated. Protekta Aqua Tech repairs the wood with epoxy resin, a method that has been used successfully in monumental buildings for more than 30 years. The Protek Aqua® method has been specially developed for hydraulic engineering works: an epoxy resin that is extremely suitable for wood with a moisture content higher than 20 percent.
