Protutor.org was developed by Rita Phillips, veteran Oregon teacher of 28 years. Throughout the years, her mission has been to teach students how to write, no matter what subject she has taught. Rita has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education and is a licensed educator in Oregon. Ms. Phillips is the recipient of four nominations for Oregon Teacher of the Year, she was named WalMart Teacher of the Year in 2003 and she currently serves on the Oregon Outstanding Educator Feedback Forum. She is dedicated to helping individuals with their writing needs.
