PROXY RESEARCHWe cover the top 100 issuers listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange based on market capital. The Proxy View team will research their published documents and publish:1.1 Pv STANDARD REPORT – a voting sheet which reflects the way in which we would have voted on each of the shareholder resolutions at the upcoming AGM or GM. This will always be based upon our standard voting policy guideline, which is freely available on our website. 1.2 REMUNERATION REVIEW REPORT – based on a scrutiny of the published documents of the issuer for the financial year, it covers the executive remuneration policy and report of the issuer. We express an objective, fair but frank assessment of the level of disclosure, transparency and fairness achieved and the actions needed from the board and management of the issuer relating to its published reports, from the viewpoint of a reasonable shareholder. 1.3 Pv CORE REPORT – a critique of the published reports of an issuer, from the viewpoint of a reasonable shareholder, of the level of disclosure, transparency and fairness achieved. It covers executive remuneration, environmental, social and governance issues, as well as other matters we consider to be of importance to shareholders, and the actions needed from the board and management.Central to our services is the monitoring of issuers on behalf of our clients. We alert our clients to important corporate governance, social or environmental issues arising from specific analyses we have undertaken.
