Founded in 1964, a group of women inspired by the teachings of Saint Josemaría Escrivá began to work with low-income women from the Pavas community to help them improve their human and moral condition. Since then, our mission to empower girls and women in the community through the provision of scholarships, training, and education has expanded to benefit over 12500 girls and women. The programs we provide have fostered skills in the girls and women that have improved their socio-economic outcomes and, in turn, directly impacted the local economy of Pavas.Proyecto Educativo Surí aims to continue this work by extending its reach to more women and increasing the amount of scholarships available; further improving the economic conditions of the community.We partner with Amigos of Costa Rica for international donations! https://www.amigosofcostarica.org/affiliates/proyecto-educativo-suri-asociacion-hogar-y-cultura
