We understand and know that each student is not the same and each student has his or her own unique learning style. We incorporate different learning styles as we teach utilizing a variety of learning styles. All children can be successful whether they have ADHD, ADD, Learning Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, Mental Health Issues, or Autism. Students at PS.1 Academy can and will succeed. We are also registered with the State of Florida Vocational Rehabilitation as certified Employment Specialists. We believe that given the opportunities and training skills, ALL students can learn the needed skills and become gainfully employed. OUR VISION We envision all Students attending PS.1 Academy will: * Understand and apply their personal God-given gifts * Live by a Biblical Worldview * Graduate with a High School diploma * Have confidence in themselves in seeking future success OUR CORE VALUES Faith - Our highest priority is to trust in God and help each student develop and live out a Biblical worldview Honor - We seek to be people of high integrity in our words, actions, and attitudes Purpose - Our goal is to help each student live out his or her individual God-given purpose (I Corinthians 10:31) Success - We seek to help our students find success in their academic, personal, and spiritual lives so they may positively impact the world around them.
