You may think about starting psychotherapy for a variety of reasons. At times these reasons can be well defined, such as struggles resulting from bereavement or loss, relationship difficulties, depression or anxiety. They could also include difficult or even traumatic past experiences such as childhood abuse or complex relationships with important people in your life. However, you do not need to have a well defined problem in order to consider therapy.
