For organisations that influence public health policy and practice, evidence plays an important role in decision making. We conduct reviews, knowledge translation activities, and train and advise organisations on all things related to evidence and research. We aim to empower people from a variety of sectors to get more value from their research investment.EVALUATION & RESEARCH: We collaborate in research and evaluation projects to support organisations with evidence-informed practice, policy and decision-making. The work we do to support evidence-informed decision-making is often referred to as 'knowledge translation and exchange' - in which we help organisations focus on the most effective ways of generating, translating and sharing knowledge from their evaluations and research partnerships. TRAINING: Whether your organisation commissions research, is coordinating an evaluation, needs to build internal capacity to find and use research evidence, or wants to more effectively apply research in a policy or practice setting, our flexible training packages equip decision-makers, researchers and practitioners to get more from evidence.CONSULTANCY: Our knowledge and experience of public health strategy means we can work closely with people to shape research priorities and frame research questions to ensure the results are useful. We also work with clients to translate or generate research evidence and engage relevant groups to add meaning and value.TAILORED EVIDENCE PRODUCTS: We have experience in producing evidence reviews, systematic literature reviews and targeted communications for a range of audiences. Dissemination products such as one-page summaries and podcasts can be useful tools for applying evidence to decision-making.
