Nonprofit Organization Management - San Fernando, California, United States
Pukúu Cultural Community Services is 501(c)3 charitable organization established by the Fernandeno Tataviam Band of Mission Indians to serve Native Americans living in the ancestral territory of the Fernandeño Tataviam, Los Angeles County. The mission of Pukúu is to invest in sustainable programs that bridge and improve opportunities for American Indians with culturally-based community services now and for future generations. The word pukúu derives from the Fernandeño Tataviam language meaning "ONE." To serve our community through the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pukúu transitioned to a virtual culturally-based programming to increase the access to services and wellness for the American Indian Community.
