'PUNARKRITI Welfare Society - A New Image of Change' is an initiative of students of PEC University Of Technology to bring a change in society. The primary purpose of this Non-Profitable Organisation is to help society in any possible way it can. We undertake projects and organize events to serve society and simultaneously awaking people about various social issues, their duties, and their rights.What do we do?To start-up with, we have first taken up 4 projects-1) ABC: We teach the unprivileged children and even prepare them for the competitive examinations.2) YOUR STEP COUNTS: We collect books, clothes, stationery items, household items, and various other required things, from different houses and give them to poor children and Old Age homes.3) JAAGRITI: We go from door to door and aware of new Government policies and what kind of privileges they can ask for from The Government of INDIA under different clauses. Under this project only we try to help them get out of the problems related to money, land, or even related to women harassment in marriages due to dowry, giving birth to a girl child, etc.4) GIVE A SMILE: We visit Old Age Homes, Orphanages as well as schools for the disabled. They are the people who need extra love and care. So just to give a smile to their faces we go, talk and play with them, and help them in any way we can.
