Purdue MIND seeks to foster an environment where students can engage in medical innovation by solving modern clinical problems that span many professional and technical disciplines. Students apply their ingenuity, problem solving, and entrepreneurial mindsets to create minimum viable products. MIND typically runs 3 or 4 medical device development teams in parallel every year with jobs in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, UI/UX, communications, business, and more! Members will have the opportunity to participate in community service events, compete in design competitions, learn or grow industry skills, discuss current research, and network with a wide range of professionals both within and outside of Purdue University.
