Pure Kashmir is a story of friendship, passion for the art, hard work and sheer belief in the art of artisans!An initiative by two friends, who wanted to revitalize the art industry of Kashmir in their own way. Artists are men and women from Kashmir's villages who mostly are farmers. Since farming is not a full time effort, these farmers turn into artists when they are not busy with farming. Mostly the weaving and embroidery is done either at the farms when they just have to look after their crops or in evenings at home.
