Pure One Outdoors LLC, is located in Richmond Virginia and was founded in 2010 by Dr. Shawn Tyson a die-hard hunter that was not satisfied with the effectiveness of the scent and Ultra-Violet control products currently on the market. With his medical back ground Dr. Tyson knew that all wild game had more senses than just the ability to smell and to be more successful you had to find a way to decrease their effectiveness. With this idea he researched every big game's senses, their strengths and their weaknesses. He then searched for current products that did more than just scent control. Very early in his search Dr. Tyson realized that scent control hasn't changed much in 10 years. They all do the same thing and that was nothing other the reduce or cover odors. Surprisingly he was unable to find any products that addressed a game's Ultra-Violet vision as well as their sense of smell. At this moment he knew it was time to educate hunters on wild games ability to see Ultra-Violet glow off of camouflage. This is when Pure One Outdoors was born with the main goal to design the next generation of scent and ultra-violet control products that did more than just scent control but would also would level the playing field for the blue-collar hunter. Dr. Tyson knew that if he could design a product, that would not only reduced a hunter's odor but also their UV glow than he could hunters more opportunities at trophy bucks! Dr. Tyson's ultimate goal with Pure One Outdoors is helping blue-collar hunters make every hunt memorable and every shot count. He has designed innovative products to help hunters reduce their odor and UV making them more deadly in the woods or on the water. He hopes that our attention to detail and our desire to help shines through on each and every hunt. Pure One Outdoors is where Science Meets The Outdoors!
