Ideas that don't stink. Established in January 2010 for the expansion of thought among all people, Pure University aims to be a catalyst for idea generation and discussion. Pure University began as a small idea in Pure, a multi-perspective integrated communications firm. Pure is a company with a habit for making little ideas into breakthrough action. And Pure University would be no exception.Pure University has no official association with Pure. The firm does not earn profit from its success, but did, however, believe that its members and people around the world would greatly benefit from a venue where the only goal is to generate, test, expand, and tweak ideas. P.U. as an organization believes in three things:PERSPECTIVE - Perspective is all about diversity of experience, beliefs, ideals, and interests. We challenge you to participate—with a critical eye, new ideas, and different ways of looking at the world.INNOVATION - We believe in free-form innovation. Good ideas can come from anywhere. Microsoft began in a garage. Electricity began with a kite and key. Sources of inspiration surround us, but are often hidden by profit margins, processes, and hierarchy. At Pure, every thought counts and rules do not exist. NONCONFORMITY - We believe in the Nontraditional and the Unstructured. Valuable ideation commands freedom. There is no one "leader" or "expert."
