Hospital & Health Care - Winfield, West Virginia, United States
Putnam County Emergency Medical Services, established in September of 1975, presently provides emergency (911) response to nearly 57,000 citizens and countless visitors of Putnam County. Covering approximately 350 square miles, our agency maintains six (6) advanced life support (ALS) staffed ambulances throughout the region at all times to allow for an immediate response to the ill or injured. In addition to the six (6) regularly staffed ambulances, additional units are scheduled for event coverage and during times of high call volume to ensure that emergency medical services remain available to those in need.
