Q-NEXT, a collaboration involving the world's leading minds from the national laboratories, universities and companies, is one of five National Quantum Information Science Research Centers. Advances in quantum information science have the potential to revolutionize information technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communications and quantum sensing.Led by Argonne National Laboratory, Q-NEXT includes nearly 100 researchers from three DOE national laboratories, nine universities and 12 leading U.S. quantum technology companies. Member organizations are leaders in many areas of QIS, including quantum information theory, high-performance computation, quantum experimental science, basic discovery science, advanced computing and high-energy physics.
