QArtCo is a custom framing and art services business. Individual attention and fine craftsmanship assure creative solutions for framing, exhibiting, cataloguing, and managing works of art. Q Art is located in the historic Mott Haven district of the South Bronx (20 minutes from Union Square) where we employ skilled local artists and apprentices to produce work of the best quality.Framing SystemsQartco works with arts organizations, galleries and private collectors to create inventory solutions that are straightforward and easy to manage. An example of Q Art's expertise is our work with Roy Lichtenstein since 1982, and with the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation since 1997. In addition to framing numerous exhibitions, Q Art has matted, and managed the storing of over 1000 Lichtenstein drawings and collages; coordinating mat sizes within existing industry standards, applying museum standard hinging, and managing this inventory.Inventory ManagementMuseums, arts organizations or galleries requiring a reusable framing system for rotating collections can employ Q Art's services to develop an inventory of frames that are designed for ease in repeated installations, storage and travel. Clients using these services include the Prakapas Gallery, the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation, and THE POINT CDC.Exhibition InstallationQartco installations combine aesthetics of placement with knowledge of the best techniques for gallery exhibitions, art fairs, and private collections. Our arrangements are designed to complement particular, diverse physical spaces while highlighting the meaning of your works of art. Whether your location is a converted 10,000 sq. ft. factory space with 20 ft. ceilings or a residence, Q Art is versatile, and can easily adapt to hanging in a wide range of circumstances.
