We are building a two-sided online marketplace connecting job seekers and employers who are ready to move beyond traditional recruiting. The curated candidate population of experienced, high-performance professionals most value autonomy, time, and interesting, meaningful work. The hiring side is willing to negotiate on those dimensions to recruit people they couldn’t otherwise afford or attract.The design centered online product experience uses video and Pinterest-style browsing to deliver the richness of face-to-face connections at scale. Candidate profiles get beyond the resume, companies beyond the job req. Market mechanisms remove friction in negotiating terms, particularly for alternative arrangements.These candidates hail from the best universities, and learned from top companies, but they are not “passive” candidates. They are motivated to make a change, and our curation process not only ensures qualification but also filters for values, shortening the path to cultural fit.
