The QFD4Mat is an educational project, an open source platform that aims to share with community a material selection method for product development. Free available tools are downloadable at page website. Method and tools are specifically developed for allowing specialists and non-specialists with any background, to work together and actively contribute to select material candidate for improvement of product. QFD4Mat support multidisciplinary teamwork to proper choice of specific material class and type to speed up product development phase. Tools downloadable at website page are customizable and can be applied to any industrial sector.
