The latter is suitable for use in systems where you intentionally want to control the downstream pressure, such as in the municipality water supply mains. The compact solution allows for quick and easy installation even in to old retrofit systems. Due to its slender design and configuration the system can be installed at any angle and in highly confined spaces.A smart control system equipped with sensors allows for accurate control of downstream pressure as well as the total energy output. The system can be set up as a locally closed system or supply power back to the grid. Further the system is equipped with on-board diagnostics for predictive maintenance.Although the system can be configured to a wide range of hydro-pipe pressures, it´s the unique patent pending turbine technology that allows the system to harvest energy in scenarios with pressure differences as low as 0.2 bar.
